Restoration Projects - Antietam Battlefield

September 17, 1862 was the bloodiest single day in U.S. history. Antietam saw 23,000 casualties from both sides of the Civil War and lead to Lincoln’s issuance of the Emancipation Proclamation. To forever remember, Congress established this historic site in 1890. Allegheny Restoration, working with architect John Milner & Associates did major restoration including widows, shutters, floors, millwork and more on three structures on this battlefield. The project is located in Sharpsburg, MD.
